August 2026
Every industry page now opens on its own hero image. Sensor pages carry resolution, swath width and band specs alongside a plain reading of what those numbers let you see.
The trust page went live. It gathers the parts of Geopera you can check before you spend anything: the quality gate every order passes, where our accuracy claims are validated, per-AOI pricing, provenance on deliverables, and how to apply for a sample over your own area.
The research page was rebuilt around four areas. Each one carries a status label that says how far along the work actually is, from validated to in progress, with a dated list of what we have published.
The sensors page opens with a scroll-driven constellation. Every sensor we can order from is drawn as a tile, joined by hairlines to the four questions buyers ask first: how close, how often, how much ground, and what lies beyond true colour.
New guide on adding satellite imagery to QGIS: XYZ tiles, QuickMapServices and GeoTIFFs, plus the licensing trap most tutorials leave out.

The API and enterprise pages were rebuilt from what the platform does today, and the API page joined the product navigation.

New guide on how disturbed area is measured for Mining Rehabilitation Fund reporting in Western Australia, where the levy is charged per disturbed hectare.
Satellite-derived bathymetry shipped with its validation published beside it. Depths land within about a metre of airborne LiDAR in turbid water, and within 38 cm of held-out ICESat-2 laser photons in clear water, with an uncertainty estimate on every pixel.
Our processing pipeline got a name. Everything from ortho correction through to mosaicing is now Legato, and it has its own page describing each stage.
The free satellite data guides are now published in German and Brazilian Portuguese, with hreflang wired up so search engines serve the right one.
