Sixteen generated satellite-style scenes from our design system, free to download. These are artwork, not captures. No satellite took them, no place on Earth is depicted, and nothing here is measurement data. For real imagery and the numbers behind it, see the research.
Free for personal use: a desktop background, a slide, a lock screen. Ask us before using one commercially. They are the sizes we built them at for this site, 1400 × 781 and 640 × 640, which fits a laptop or a slide and will look soft stretched across a 4K display.

Why none of these has a caption
Everywhere else on this site, a satellite image carries its place, date, resolution, and sensor. That caption is the point: it makes the image checkable. These scenes cannot carry one, because there is nothing true to put in it. So they get a plain name describing what you are looking at, and nothing more.
If a generated picture ever appears on this site with a place name and a sensor attached, we have made a mistake. Tell us and we will fix it.
